Avenue of Sphinx

Luxor, Egypt

The Avenue of Sphinx, stretching over 2.7 kilometers, connects the Karnak Temple to the Luxor Temple. Lined by 1,350 sphinx statues, this ceremonial walkway dates back to the reign of Pharaoh Amenhotep III in the 14th century BC. Much of its grandeur was revived through a modern restoration project, making it perfect for history enthusiasts and archaeologists.
