Château de Vincennes

Château de Vincennes is a historic fortress located in the eastern suburbs of Paris, France. Originally built in the 12th century, it served as a royal residence and hunting lodge. Its unique feature is the well-preserved keep, or donjon, which stands at 52 meters tall and is one of the tallest medieval fortified structures in Europe. The château also boasts impressive walls, a moat, and a large park, making it a significant example of medieval military architecture.
