Tsaritsyno Palace in Moscow was designed by architect Vasily Bazhenov for Empress Catherine the Great in 1775 but was never completed during her reign due to disagreements. Instead of residing over grandeur, the palace lay unfinished for over 200 years until it was finally completed in the 21st century.
