Museo Cappella Sansevero

Built in the late 16th century by the Prince of Sansevero, the Cappella Sansevero in Naples holds some of the most intriguing sculptures in Europe. Walking in, the marble Veiled Christ by Giuseppe Sanmartino captures everyone with its almost see-through marble veil. For art lovers, visiting in the morning allows time to truly appreciate the details before the crowds fill the chapel.
Worth knowing. Visit the basement to see the mysterious anatomical machines, which baffle scientists to this day with their realistic depiction of the human circulatory system.
