VoyaBear is now an app you can download
VoyaBear has lived in a browser since the day it started, and a browser is a fine place to plan a trip. It is a poor place to take one. Signal goes, the tab reloads, and the itinerary you spent an evening on is a spinner in a country where your data does not work.
So VoyaBear is now an app. It is on the App Store and on Google Play, it is free, and your account and everything in it come straight across.
Your trip, without signal
A saved trip is kept on the phone itself. Open it on a train through somewhere with no bars, at a border, on a plane, and the whole thing is still there — every day, every stop, the notes you added and the order you put them in.
Tickets where you need them
Boarding passes, museum bookings, the confirmation email you will not be able to find at the gate. They sit with the day they belong to, so the thing you need at eleven o'clock is on the screen at eleven o'clock rather than four folders deep in a mail app.
Reels that actually play
Travel reels from people who went — the ones naming the cafe and the viewpoint rather than selling you a tour. They lead the Explore tab, they play full screen, and every place a reel names can go straight onto your list while you are watching it.
What else changes
- The app nudges you when something on your trip is about to happen, which a website cannot do.
- It opens instantly and stays where you left it, instead of reloading the moment you switch away.
- Everything syncs with the web. Plan at a desk, travel with your phone, and it is the same trip in both.
Nothing moves behind a download
The website is not going anywhere and nothing has been taken out of it. If you would rather plan in a browser, keep planning in a browser. The app is for the part of a trip that happens away from one.
iPhone and iPad on iOS, and Android phones and tablets. Free to download, and the same account either way — sign in with what you already use.
Try it yourself
Tell VoyaBear where you're going and get a day-by-day itinerary built around how you actually travel — free, and yours to rewrite.
