Which cities you could actually work from
Picking somewhere to go for a fortnight and picking somewhere to work from for two months are different problems. The second one cares about things a holiday does not: whether the wifi holds, what a month costs rather than a night, whether walking back at eleven is fine.
So every city in the catalogue carries a digital nomad score alongside its beach and nightlife ones, and the ranking is now its own page.
What is in the score
Connection quality, cost of living over a stay rather than a night, and safety. 724 of the 740 cities have one; 100 of those clear 80 out of 100, which is a shortlist short enough to actually read.
Narrow it to your constraints
The ranking filters on the two things that usually decide it — a minimum safety score, and a budget band — because a city that is wonderful and unaffordable is not a candidate.
Where to find it
Under Tools, as the Digital Nomad City Ranking. It is free and open without an account, like the rest of the tools there.
A score is a starting point, not a verdict. Every city in the ranking opens into its full page — climate, getting around, what it is known for — which is where the actual decision gets made.
