Trips you can plan with the people coming

A trip for four planned by one person is a trip three people have opinions about afterwards. The itinerary ends up in a group chat as screenshots, and the version everyone is looking at is from Tuesday.

So a trip can have more than one person in it.

Invite the people coming

Add a travel companion and they see the same itinerary, with the same days and stops, and can change it. Not a copy — the trip itself, so there is no version to reconcile.

Or just send the link

Any trip can become a public link. Whoever opens it reads the whole plan with no account and nothing to install, which is the right shape for the friend who wants to see it but is not coming.

A share link is read-only. Editing needs an invitation, so sending the plan to someone does not hand them the ability to rewrite it.
